Crafted in our Smooth leather, these 1461 shoes stay true to the Original silhouette, which turns 6 decades old this year. The shoes sit on a durable air-cushioned sole that has been reinforced with our yellow stitching and has remained intact since birth.

The 3-eyelet 1461 is our second design; a very resistant shoe that is widely recognized for its versatility.
Our Smooth skin is famous for its stiffness, especially at the beginning, and for its exceptional resistance. You can polish it to give it a shine or let it wear down and peel to add character. It's up to you. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and care for it with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish.
All of our Goodyear welt styles are sealed at 700ºC and reinforced with our iconic topstitching.
